The 2022-2026 master plan, Mesures de la Confédération afin de renforcer la recherche et la technologie biomédicales, aims to create and maintain optimal framework conditions for biomedical research and technology while ensuring that the Swiss population has affordable and physical access to both established and emerging biomedical innovations.
As part of the plan, a mid-term evaluation is scheduled for the end of 2024 to assess the current state of biomedical technologies and identify potential areas of intervention for a possible third edition of the master plan. The Biomedical Division of the FOPH has mandated Swiss Economics to support this process.
