Swiss Economics supported the Federal Network Agency in comparing the efficiency of gas transmission system operators for the third regulatory period. The project included data plausibility checks, the determination of the comparison parameters, a comprehensive cost driver analysis based on a reference network analysis and the derivation and validation of the efficiency comparison model, on the basis of which the individual efficiency of the German gas transmission system operators can be determined in a court of law.
