ContactProject description
Polkadex builds a decentralized, peer-to-peer exchange for cryptocurrencies. So far, these exchanges have either been centrally managed and therefore prone to attacks or slow. New blockchain technologies allow more targeted and faster data processing. Polkadex builds its platform on Polkadot - a modern Blockchain developed by Web3 in Zug, Switzerland. Swiss Economics' Center for Cryptoeconomics (cryptecon) supports Polkadex in building the exchange. In particular, we support Polkadex to design the token economy and design market makers that allow automated transactions between traders and a liquidity pool.
Methods
- numerical simulations
- applied platform economics
- token valuation using monetary theory and comparative analysis
