Together with WIK Consult, Swiss Economics supports the German Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) in determining the general sectoral productivity factor (Xgen) of the fourth regulatory period. Swiss Economics contributes to the Malmquist analyses, which estimate the frontier shift between different regulatory periods.
The Xgen is used to determine the individual revenue caps of the German network operators for the fourth regulatory period.
