ContactProject description
Swiss Economics was commissioned by the German Environment Agency to assess the environmental- and regulatory challenges of DLT solutions. The study will address the question of how resource-efficient existing DLT applications operate and whether they have a comparative advantage over alternative solutions. To answer this question, we will identify and aggregate the necessary data and develop a suitable methodology.
In the second part of the project, we will identify the regulatory challenges of DLT and uncover the comparative advantages of DLT solutions in the regulatory context. We are conducting the project in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Tim Weingärtner from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and with Johannes Erny from the Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg.
