ContactProjektbeschreibung
Together with SUMICSID, Swiss Economics is advising the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Regulatory Authorities (ACER) on the design of the methodology and processes for an efficiency comparison of European gas transmission system operators. The project builds on the predecessor projects TCB18 and TCB21 and is intended to prepare the largest international efficiency comparison in the EU energy market.
In particular, the effects of decarbonization, such as the reduction of transported gas volumes or the removal of assets for the transport of other gases such as hydrogen or CO2 (“repurposing”) or the decommissioning of plants will be considered. In addition, the parameters required for benchmarking, the data management and the data validation are defined.
