ContactProject description
Swiss Economics supports a cantonal economic office in the development and implementation of regulatory benchmarking.
The purpose of regulatory benchmarking is to examine and assess cantonal regulatory initiatives in terms of their impact on relevant stakeholders. The assessment takes into account the type and extent of the impact, as well as the size of the stakeholder groups, in order to create a cost-benefit profile of the regulation. Additionally, secondary impacts, such as those on the canton and municipalities, or on economic growth and competition, are evaluated using an inspection catalog.
